The Hot House

The front wall and doorway of  Hillside faced due east. The Round House and the Archway leading down into the front garden were to the north side of the house. The Round House was used as a garden shed where all the equipment was stored. Both it and the Arch were later additions to the original house. It is believed that they were designed and  built by the older boys, before they emigrated.
