Wallace was another of the tall (6’ 2”) lean Harlands. He was educated at Newry High School and Methodist College Belfast. He was an excellent pianist, and church organist. He worked in a linen company, Messr. H.A. McKeag & Co., in Belfast; and also in New York 1907-9 & 1910 -12.
